Meeting point, instructions and Jeep allocation

Our minibus will pick you up directly from your hotel and transfer you to the meeting point, where you will meet your guide and be allocated to your jeep group for the day.

We make our way up into the dramatic mountain range of Thripti, reaching the spectacular summit of Afentis at 850 meters. Be rewarded with a breathtaking panoramic view stretching across both the Libyan and Aegean Seas simultaneously — one of the most unforgettable viewpoints in all of Crete.

We descend to the traditional village of Kavousi, home to one of the most remarkable natural wonders of the Mediterranean — the oldest olive tree in the world, estimated to be over 3,250 years old. A truly humbling encounter with living history.

Return to starting point

After our final stop at Tholos Bay, we drive our jeeps back to the starting point, where we wrap up an extraordinary day of adventure and discovery. At the starting point, we board our comfortable minibus for the final leg of the journey, dropping you off directly at your hotel.

Additional info

Our jeep safari operates in small groups for a more personal and authentic experience. Each jeep accommodates up to 4 passengers, ensuring a comfortable and enjoyable ride throughout the day.
Guests may have the opportunity to drive the Jeeps during the safari, and a valid driving licence must be presented at the meeting point. Drivers must be at least 21 years old, hold a driving licence for a minimum of three years, wear closed shoes, and carry their licence with them during the excursion.
Please wear comfortable clothing and sturdy shoes suitable for off-road walking and mountain terrain. We recommend bringing sunscreen, a hat, sunglasses, a light jacket for the mountain summit, and plenty of water.
Don't forget your swimsuit for the swim stop at Tholos Bay! Participants are kindly advised to arrive at the meeting point at least 10 minutes before departure.
Vegetarian meals are available upon request. Please inform us in advance of any allergies or dietary restrictions.
Pets are not allowed.
Not suitable for pregnant women and people with back problems.
Not recommended for people with heart conditions or serious health issues.
This excursion is not wheelchair accessible.

Booking Policy

Confirmation policy

The customer receives a confirmation voucher via email within 24 hours of successful booking.

In case the preferred slots are unavailable, an alternate schedule of the customer's preference will be arranged and a new confirmation voucher will be sent via email.

Alternatively, the customer may choose to cancel their booking before confirmation and a full refund will be processed.

Cancellation policy

Free cancellation up to 24 hours before excursion's starting time.
25% payment for cancelling 12-24h before excursion's starting time.
Fully charged for no show, or cancelling less than 12h before excursions's starting time.

Refund policy

The applicable refund amount will be processed within 2-3 business days.
